INTRODUCTION

This video contains information about two important aspects of setting waypoints.

First, how to move the robot. There are two ways to move this particular robot. The way you will need to do it for this class is by using the coordinate system. (Watch the video for more details.)

Right Hand Rule: A helpful aspect of moving the robot using the coordinate system is to remember the right hand rule. This is covered in the video.

Second, how to move the robot back to a good starting position. If the robot does not have quite the correct angle on it, you will need to reset the robot's position. This position is called park. How to get to this position is also covered in the video.

Turning Off the Vacuum/Removing a Part

If you need the vacuum/gripper to let go of a part, DO NOT remove it with your hands. First turn off the vacuum using the DI/DO tab in Dobot Studio. Removing the part with your hands will wear out the gripper faster.

IMPORTANT

DO NOT remove parts by using your hand.
