NOTE

If the robot is setup already, DO NOT DO THIS. Please look at the pictures below and if anything does not look correct, ask your instructor to check the setup.

INSTRUCTIONS

Place the robot on top of the base plate and attach it to the base plate with six screws using an Allen wrench:
Attach the base plate to the desk or table with c-clamps:
Insert quick connect wiring busses into robot base. They just snap into place, no tools required.

NOTE

They are keyed with the rounded edges pointing down.
Insert the E-Stop wiring buss into the base of the robot and gently tighten the screws.

NOTE

This connector is also keyed with the rounded edges down.
Plug in the round power supply connector to the robot with the flat part of the connector facing up.
The 8-pin cable needs to be wired into the robot as shown below:

Wiring:
Top row: First six slots empty, then white, then red, then two more empty slots
Bottom row: First four slots empty, then brown, green, yellow, gray, pink, then blue.
Plug in the robot power supply.
Turn on the robot by pressing the power button at the base of the Dobot Robot.
You will need to press and hold the power button for a second or two.
